University of Ljubljana will also introduce in the future an additional security mechanism of multiple authentication (MFA) in order to improve security.

Students: on IDPortal
- collect your identity for the first time,
- in case of problems with logging into the system, check the validity of the password,
- and read the login instructions.

- Students:
can activate digital identity through UL ID PORTAL. You can activate your digital identity at http://id.uni-lj.si, click English version / digital identity / activate identity / enter personal data / define your own password / click on ACTIVATE DIGITAL IDENTITY.
The password requires minimum 8 signs. Your user name consists from the first letters of your name and last name, four numbers, @, student.uni-lj.si.
Example: ab1234@student.uni-lj.si. The user name and password are confidential and should not be disclosed to third persons!

- Teachers: The digital identity for the teachers is provided by the faculty of the employment (at the UL FGG it is your user account for the wireless Eduroam network). If you do not yet have a digital identity, you can get it in the the UL FGG IT department.

Digital identity is not your e-mail address.

Support and assistance about non-technical matters are provided in the UL FGG Office of Student Affairs and for any technical issues you can turn to the UL FGG IT Department..

Note for students without status: If you have been without student status for more than two years, according to the Rules on the 1st and 2nd Cycle Studies you have also lost the right to use the Student information system. To re-activate your rights, you should apply for continuation of studies after suspension.

We invite you to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your O365 account as soon as possible.
