Student information system

We would like to inform you that as of February 29, 2024, VIS (Higher Information Systems) has switched to a single sign-on (SSO) system via EntraID, which means that registration will only be possible via the Microsoft login window.
In the future, the University of Ljubljana will also introduce an additional security mechanism of multiple authentication (MFA) in order to improve security.
We invite students to set up MFA on their O365 account as soon as possible.
Instructions can be found on the Microsoft website and IDPortal.

User name to log in the UL FGG Student Information System je is your digital identity (although it seems similar, it is not your e-mail address).

Students can activate digital identity through UL ID PORTAL. You can activate your digital identity at, click English version / digital identity / activate identity / enter personal data / define your own password / click on ACTIVATE DIGITAL IDENTITY.
The password requires minimum 8 signs. Your user name consists from the first letters of your name and last name, four numbers, @, Example: The user name and password are confidential and should not be disclosed to third persons!

You can change password or generate a new password (forgotten) through the same ID portal - UL ID PORTAL, Password reset.

Digital itentity is also used to log in the e-Classroom of UL FGG and wireless Eduroam network.

The digital identity for the teachers is provided by the faculty of the employment (at the UL FGG it is your user account for the wireless Eduroam network). If you do not yet have a digital identity, you can get it in the the UL FGG IT department.

Support and assistance about non-technical matters are provided in the UL FGG Office of Student Affairs, and for any technical issues you can turn to the UL FGG IT Department.

Note for students without status: If you have been without student status for more than two years, according to the Rules on the 1st and 2nd Cycle Studies you have also lost the right to use the Student information system. To re-activate your rights, you should apply for continuation of studies after suspension.

With your login and use of the Student information system, you declare that you agree with the use of cookies. The used cookies are intended to the operation of the pages and providing safe access.
The cookies do not contain any personal or other information that may be used for the user identification and are not used for any analysis.
